The opportunity:

We are sourcing a People Advisor to join our collaborative and supportive People Advisory team based in Melbourne. Within this role you will work with a as part of the team to act as the first point of contact to the business and manage day-to-day human resources enquiries. This is a 14-month max term contract and a hybrid working model is available for the successful candidate.

To do this successfully you will:
  • Coordinate workflow within the People Advisory and HR Business Processes for AIA Australia
  • Integrate the wider People and Culture Service Delivery Model; monitoring and managing query volumes, response times and performance to SLA's
  • Take ownership and resolution of colleague and line manager case issues
  • Respond to general enquiries which are raised and logged through case management tool, Workday Help in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate entry of data in Workday
  • Provide advice and guidance to employees on policy matters
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is offered to colleagues and managers across the business
  • Process payment related transactions in Workday as required
  • Facilitate onboarding and off-boarding activities
  • Maintain strong levels of confidentiality at all times

Successful applications will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience working within a similar position or a keen interest in commencing your HR career at a leading life insurance provider
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders of all levels
  • Experience dealing with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
