Yarra Capital Management is one of Australia’s largest leading independent Australian Fund Managers offering a range of actively managed equities, fixed income and multi asset products. Due to continued growth they are currently looking to add a junior equity analyst to join the Australian equity team.
Reporting to the Head of Australian Equities and the Head of Australian Equities Research, you will grow and develop a deep knowledge of the consumer and telecommunications sectors through engagement with company management teams and industry experts.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Conducting fundamental analysis of companies to provide investment recommendations
• Develop & maintain financial models to forecast company earnings & valuations
• Participation in peer-review process of internally generated investment research
• Liaising with companies, stockbrokers, portfolio managers & external clients
• Presenting investment ideas to internal & external clients & other stakeholders

• Excellent report writing skills
• Ability to succinctly & confidently present investment ideas
• Interest & capability in broadening sectoral coverage
