We're partnering with a well-established accounting firm in Shepparton that's looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for an Accountant looking to take the next step in their public practice career, working closely with a diverse range of clients while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
The Opportunity:
- Preparing financial accounts and tax returns for a range of entities
- Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
- Preparing BAS and other compliance requirements
- Communicating directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Assisting senior accountants and partners with more complex work
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
- 2+ years' experience in Australian public practice
- Relevant accounting qualifications, with CA/CPA studies highly regarded
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements
- Experience with Xero and/or other accounting software
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in developing your career within public practice
