This role will support the Senior Manager, Change and Planning to coordinate departmental planning and prioritisation activities whilst supporting the team to deliver value efficiently and at pace.

The role

This role is crucial for ensuring that activities requiring support from the People team, leaders, and employees are effectively planned and coordinated to minimise disruption and maximise value. You will collaborate with all teams within the People BU to design, implement, and manage streamlined planning processes, resulting in a well-prioritized, transparent, and traceable plans. Providing effective project and change management support to initiatives driven from the People BU, your role will be varied to also
  • Design and coordinate planning cycles
  • Create plans, roadmaps and calendars to ensure visibility across People BU, taking a whole of organisation approach
  • Work with teams to design and implement annual and quarterly planning and prioritisation process and deliverables
  • Implement effective status reporting to monitor delivery performance against the plan.

About you

A highly organised individual with strong project, process design and change management skills, you will have the ability to multi-task, communicate persuasively and prioritise as required. Your well-developed problem-solving skills, coupled with the following will set you up for success in this role

  • Planning experience and ability to draw on a range of models and elicitation techniques
  • Experience with triaging and eliminating blockers and assigning accountability to the point of resolution
  • Adaptability and resilience and ability to manage ambiguity and changing priorities with a positive attitude
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to plan and lead effective workshops.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Teams Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project as well as ability to adapt to other technology systems such as JIRA, Confluence.
