Private Investment house looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to partner with their property team to help drive commercial outcomes. This is a great opportunity for those looking to develop business partnering skills.

Job Description

You will be business partnering with the property team and be responsible for all finance related support. You will be involved in the driving business performance and ensure the following is completed;

  • Submission of monthly financial data to Finance
  • Consolidation of monthly liquidity data and preparation of liquidity forecasts,
  • Preparation and submission of APRA reports
  • Preparation of financial budget / forecasting material
  • Maintenance / review of existing and new vendor relationships

The Successful Applicant

Competencies required for success:

  • Strong financial literacy with 5-10 years of financial management experience gained preferably in a funds/asset management or banking/superannuation environment
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (CPA / CA qualification not required)
  • Demonstrated experience working with financial/investment management systems, preferably with experience in system implementation project/s
  • Tertiary qualification in Banking, Finance and/or Accounting
  • Solid understanding of lending asset management systems (exposure to lending systems implementation/project management)
  • Strong excel/modelling skills
  • Experience preparing financial budgets/forecasts
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex matters in a concise and effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to take accountability and work independently as well as within a small team
