About the role The Domain Architect, a newly created position reporting to the Principal Architect, plays a key role in shaping the architecture of Cbus and its practice. The role requires strong business, technology, and engineering acumen for a significant business domain of Cbus.
Primarily responsible for governing a domains application and technology architecture, the Domain Architect performs enterprise and solution architecture responsibilities and provides occasional engineering and operational guidance to technology teams.
To be successful you will have proven experience aligning, communicating, and executing practical architecture/technology strategies through cross-business engagement and delivery influence, and experience forming principles, patterns and standards that drive change enabling the strategy.
You will be able to demonstrate solution architecture and design expertise spanning all facets of architecture - frontends, backends, synchronous and asynchronous integrations, security, networking, and data platforms - and demonstrate strong understanding of engineering and operational good practice. Supporting this, you will have broad and practical knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS or Azure) and experience working in architectures involving enterprise capabilities such as ERP, CRM, MDM, marketing, and finance systems. Prior experience defining cross-functional requirements and architecture fitness functions with business stakeholder and technology teams will also help you succeed.
You will have a proven track record of requirements analysis & elaboration, problem solving, facilitation, and influencing to achieve desired business outcomes.
