Customer Service Officer | St Kilda Road | Insurance company | 8.30-5pm | Full Training
Your new company

This is a small, yet established, insurance organisation who have been assisting Australians for over 100 years.
They enjoy a low staff turnover and being member-owned funnel their profits back into members and charitable endeavours. They are seeking an administration assistant for an entry level job.

Your new role
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Supporting clients and customers with enquiries on products & policies.
  • Manage customer complaints in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
  • Liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of multiple funds' benefits, features, and conditions.
  • Processing policy transactions and maintaining member records.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Running reports and assisting with analysis for clients.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Australian Financial Service Licence.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and high attention to detail.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite. Proficient in Excel
  • Finance or insurance industry knowledge.
  • RG146 qualification (or willingness to obtain it).
  • Experience in working with unitised funds.
  • Experience working in an APRA regulated life insurance company.
  • Experience using Garradin (member system) and/or MYOB Advanced.
