Credit Analyst - Residential

Your new role As a Credit Underwriter within the Residential Team your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing mortgage applications to make sound decisions as well as provide solutions when required
- Escalating potential risks where identified
- Report any applications that fail to meet responsible lending regulations and company standards
- Resolving loan enquiries and complaints
- Package loan applications for Lender's assessment
- Preparation of credit compliance reports
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and build strong relationships with the sales team and business partner channels
Due to the ongoing nature of this role, you must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status.
What you'll need to succeed You are encouraged to apply for this role if you have the following:
- Previously exercised delegated lending authority in a similar environment (non-bank lender)
- Understand the personal loan and home loan process
- Established problem solving abilities
- Proven communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Credit assessment knowledge
