The opportunity:

In this role, you will lead and manage the Business Process Testing (BPT) to ensure that the test planning, test specification and text execution is carried out to the highest possible standard in accordance with the BPT framework. This role can be filled in Sydney or Melbourne.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity and we can offer this as day rate or salaried basis.

To do this successfully you will:
  • Train and coach business users in the definition of BPT requirements, test planning, test execution, use of test tools (PractiTest, Jira and Confluence) and defect management
  • Develop test cases in line with business processes and upload to PractiTest
  • Facilitate the co-ordination of BPT testers to support execution
  • Act as the first line of support to Testers on a day-to-day basis
  • Produce approved BPT test plans, test summary reports and status reports aligned to the test strategy, with the involvement of stakeholders
  • Manage the BPT planning, test specification and test execution with Testers
  • Influence business and project teams to ensure that quality assurance procedures are applied consistently across programmes of work and provide support as required
  • Act as the lead and coordinator for Defect Management in BPT
  • Continually review processes and practices to ensure industry best standard is achieved

Successful applications will demonstrate:
  • Demonstrated and practical experience in a BPT manager role
  • Strong experience in working on multiple projects in environment of medium to large size and complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, influence and to effectively communicate with staff at all levels
  • Self-organised with a strong attention to detail
