Your new company
One of Australia's largest universities and most international university is seeking an Automaton Tester. This university is known globally and offering many different levels of education. Your new role
  • Identify and create test data
  • Develop Automation strategy and framework across web applications and APIs
  • Identify, create, execute and review acceptance tests that need to be automated
  • Write BDD feature files using Cucumber
  • Build Automation scripts using Selenium and Java
  • Carry out test execution for Software release/delivery
  • Monitor and report test status
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications
  • Participate in improving overall test processes
  • Take part in scrum stand-ups, sprint, retrospective meetings and iteration planning
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Extensive experience with both Automation and manual testing
  2. Extensive experience working within an Agile Scrum team - experience in stand-ups, sprint, retrospective meeting and iteration planning
  3. Experience in Web UI automation using Selenium
  4. Must-have Java Experience
  5. Must have knowledge and experience around source management tools like GIT/Bitbucket
  6. Experience with BDD test frameworks such as Cucumber (preferred) or Protractor (good to have).
  7. Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript
  8. Experience with the Atlassian suite of products (JIRA and Confluence) preferred
  9. CI/CD experience preferably in AWS and associated tools - such as Team City/Jenkins/Source Tree/Octopus
  10. Experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle (desirable)
  • Automated testing of SOAP and RESTful web services (desirable)
  • Test Management Tools (desirable)
  • Using open source automation frameworks such as Serenity (desirable)
  • Certified ISTQB foundation (desirable)
