Permanent Accounts Receivable Officer with a Melbourne CBD based Property group in the Owners Crop side
Your new company
Your new company is a Melbourne CBD based Real Estate Agency that covers both residential and commercial property. This role will sit in the Owner Corporation side of the business and support the Accounts team as well as the wider business.

Your new role
Your new role's purpose is as the primary point of contact for all queries and matters relating to OC (owners corporation) accounts from lot owners, managing agents, tenants and the OC solicitors for all credit control and debt recovery matters.
You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
  • Overseeing, monitoring and processing the daily operations of the Owners Corporation accounts receivables including credit control and debt recovery
  • Raising all OC levies including standard fees, special levies and adjustments levies
  • Raising and following up miscellaneous on charge invoices to lot owner and third parties as instructed
  • Managing and completing the dispatch of OC fee and final fee notices
  • Processing the daily receipting of direct deposits, cheques and cash payments
  • Daily reconciliation of all OC bank accounts
  • Month end bank reconciliations
  • Provide analytical and accounting support to the OC managers and OC Accountant
  • Developing, maintaining and managing debt recovery procedures for all OC manages to ensure critical matters are handled in an organised and transparent manner
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will ideally have 2-3 years previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role. Ideally this will be in the Property/Real Estate/Owners Corporation industry but this is not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast paced environment will be essential for this role as well as a strong work ethic. Strong debt recovery skills/strategies will be highly regarded.
