Hays have partnered with an asset finance company who are looking to grow their development team. They have built a marketing leading platform and bespoke, custom-built system for both consumers and commercial partners.
Your new role
As the Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for product development from ideation through to deployment. Ensuring responsiveness of applications, you will be designing and developing frontend and backend web architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of projects from conception to implementation
- Expert development of backend and frontend architecture that needs technical and user needs
- Innovative design of user interactions across the platform
- Maintenance and optimisation of existing systems
- Development and implementation of release management cycles
- Cross-platform optimisation for web and mobile
- Staying up to date with development sin web applications and programming languages
- Develop bespoke systems or tools to assist staff and managements internal efficiencies
To succeed in the role of Senior PHP Developer, you will have the following skill set:
- PHP, Laravel
- JavaScript
- AWS
- MySQL
- Project Management experience
- JavaScript frameworks such as Angularjs or Reactjs
- Strong understanding of Python, Ruby, Java or .NET
- Reliable
- Proactive
- High attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Solution-focussed
