Your new company
Hays Human Resources are seeking an Employment Consultant for a not for profit client based in Northern New South Wales. Due to organisation growth this role will see you reporting into the Area Manager.

Your new role
Your new role will see you providing high level account management and manage a diverse portfolio. Develop new business opportunities and relationships with local employers across key focus areas, job seeker cohorts, and industry. Other tasks will include
  • Securing and developing a key number of job-ready clients and quality vacancies
  • Identifying and developing client capability to facilitate appropriate referrals for job vacancies
  • Providing ongoing coaching, mentoring and advice
  • Identifying and utilising labour market information to develop and implement successful customer relationship strategies
  • Providing on-site assessment and ongoing support/training to achieve customer's needs and requirements
  • Effectively and accurately update databases/systems
  • Participating actively in local networks and promoting the organisation services
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work in a continual changing work environment and have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage and develop large portfolios and communicate, liaise with Internal and external stakeholders
  • Meet targets and have strong business development and networking skills with the proven ability to support the development of new business initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to generate placement leads resulting in sustainable employment outcomes for clients
  • Ability to provide post-placement support to both employers and clients
  • Prior experience within employment services, including jobactive or DES would be beneficial.
