An established and reputable firm in Canberra City South is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Manager to oversee the operational functions of its conveyancing division. This role requires a highly organised professional with strong operational capability and extensive experience managing high-volume conveyancing matters.
Your new role
The Conveyancing Manager will be responsible for the effective coordination of all conveyancing operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery. The successful candidate will provide support and guidance to the conveyancing team while maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, agents, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management - Oversee daily workflow, allocate files, and ensure compliance with ACT legislation and internal procedures.
- Team Support - Provide guidance, assistance, and escalation support to conveyancers as required.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement - Maintain strong professional relationships and uphold service standards.
- High-Volume File Oversight - Monitor and progress a substantial caseload with accuracy and efficiency.
- Process and Compliance Management - Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
To be successful in this position:
- Extensive experience in conveyancing, with strong operational oversight responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of ACT conveyancing legislation and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads in a structured and efficient manner
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective support within a professional team environment
