Your new company specialises in advisory, legal and tax and audit services. This firm is now looking to hire a Senior Business Services Accountant for its CBD based office on a permanent basis. Your new role
Your new role will require you to provide the highest quality of service to a wide range of clients through many different industries, whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills, you will be key in supporting your team, your company, and developing your career. As a Senior Accountant, your main duties will involve:
What you'll need to succeed
- Engaging with the ATO on client business, including extensions and payments.
- Fostering professional development within your team and developing relationships with clients
- Effectively coordinating a team and other accountants in the BA field
- Preparing standard company statements, income tax returns, loan summaries and financial statements for a broad range of business entities
- Liaising with clients with an exceptional level of communication
- Frequent use of MYOB suite and Xero
Your success will stem from a demonstrated experience in this role or a similar field or department, you will ideally have completed a relevant university degree and have completed or are near completion of your CA/CPA. You perform your duties to the highest standard of work and have exceptional communication and coordination skills, as well as demonstrating a keen mind for problem solving skills and a willingness to strive for excellence.
The ideal candidate should have experience in delegating and reviewing the work of juniors within their team, and a willingness to learn and to lead by example. What you'll get in return
