Our client is a global bank currently undergoing a Financial Crime Risk Transformation Program and is seeking a Senior Project Manager and a Project Manager to define and execute a book of works that will ensure our client meets its regulatory commitments and builds effective FCR standards.
The Financial Crime Risk Transformation Program exists to define and implement systems and process operating models globally across Sanctions and Anti Money Laundering activity to ensure our client meets regulatory and DPA commitments as well as developing the highest and/or most effective FCR standards and to deploy them consistently across the globe.
The S/PM will be required to manage change through assigned projects which are established to deliver a specific outcome, on time and on budget. Projects may be stand alone or part of a Program. You will also be responsible for managing change and implementation within the business to ensure the change lands well and sticks, contributing to benefits realization as well as develop the plan within constraints, considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies within the plan, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality.
The ideal candidate will have Core Project Management Knowledge and Skills (PMP or PRINCE2 certification maintained for at least 2 cycles, or equivalent experience) have strong problem solving and analytical skills. You will need to have a proven background in delivering complex, large scale projects or programs. Experience with managing senior stakeholders in a matrix, multi-cultural organization. Ideally, you will have worked in financial services (banking, capital markets or insurance) before and would be great if you have knowledge within financial crime risk or similar (including quantitative analysis and risk analytics). Most importantly you will need to have the ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment and be able to work independently and self-learn.
