The key focus of the CTS analyst role is to work in partnership with business and clients to develop and deliver technology solutions to meet internal and external client needs. The role encompasses project management, analysis, solution design and implementation utilizing State Street’s project methodologies.
Responsible for the solution analysis, design and overall delivery
Responsible for elaborating business requirements in collaboration with client, business and product owner
Document business and technical requirements using clear, concise language consistent with the State Street project methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Drive the resolution of identified gaps to ensure the timely completion of solution analysis
Act as the key interface between the business and IT teams through the solutioning and implementation phases for any technology and operating model changes
Support the Sales process by participating in RFP’s, Client Due Diligence and in the recommendation of future state technology model.
Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Proven track record working within an Agile project environment
A minimum 5 years business analysis experience with strong analytical skills.
Proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner at all levels of staff including IT developers, business owners and senior management.
Strong time management and project management skills.
Business knowledge within the financial services industrial preferably investment management and custody services.
Demonstrate ability to proactively dissect large systems into smaller functional components that can be analyzed with respect to individual business processes.
Able to manage multiple work streams and projects through to completion, often under tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently generate a high quality work.
Must be able to operate effectively in a challenging environment and work well both independently and within teams
Proven ability to build and motivate a team to achieve the project milestones.
Must be self-motivated and able to exercise sound decision making skills.
Problem solving, Negotiation and Influencing Skills
Ability to adapt to change and be flexible in a dynamic work environment often involving global teams
