Founded in Berlin in 1870 to support the internationalization of business and to promote and facilitate trade relations between Germany, other European countries, and overseas markets, Deutsche Bank has developed into a leading global provider of financial services. We first established a presence in Asia in 1872 with offices in Yokohama and Shanghai. Today our Asia Pacific network covers 17 markets encompassing 54 regisrered offices and over 17,000 employees. We have been in Australia for over 30 years and our offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland employ around 1,000 people.
